Makes a delicious and healthy appetizer! | fedandfulfilled.comAs you read this, Mark and I will (hopefully) be basking in the breezy, ocean-sprayed city of San Francisco!  WOOHOO!  This is our first time in northern California, so I’m over the moon excited to finally get to see the sights, visit Alcatraz, see the redwoods, and taste some fine Napa Valley wine!  And don’t even get me started on the food!  I have a list of restaurants to try that is probably longer than my packing list!

Fresh Strawberry Kiwi Fruit Salsa

Serves: 4ish
Ingredients
  • 1½ cups chopped strawberries
  • 3 kiwis, peeled and chopped
  • ¼ cup red onion, diced
  • ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon diced green chilies
  • ½ lime, juiced
  • sea salt to taste
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl, stir, and enjoy with your favorite chips! (I loved it with sweet potato chips and sweet plantain chips, personally!)
  2. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator.
  3. Due to the fruit being fresh, this salsa doesn't have a long shelf life. I recommend eating it within 1-2 days.
